Am sure it is heat resistance, but have yet to use it. Was pleased that the lid does fit the 14" "green pan" for which I purchased the lid. Now I can make chili using the large skillet.Fit my oversize panIt’s a cover I ordered for the La Creuset paella pan. It’s not a snug fit. It only fits on one big pan. The little hole is good to release steam, but because the fit is slightly off, not necessary.Staub does not make a lid for their 13 inch double-handed skillet. I tried another one which did not work. This works well, though not perfectly. The problem is that the pan itself is not perfectly round. So, the lid has to sit on the edge of the pan in places (if that makes sense). Still, it's fine with me. If I need it to be completely sealed, I'll rig a rolled up piece of foil.I like the fact it has so many width options. My ancient 12 inch cast iron (50+ years old) pan is too wide for the lids sold today on Amazon for 12 inch cast iron pans. This one sits inside the pan slightly but it is the best I have found and bottom line it works. I like the see through top you never find with a cast iron lid. I also like the rubberized lid grab. The products fits the Dutch Oven very well, even better than the original lid! Seems good quality overall. Glad with this purchase. This Tempered Glass Lid fits our 14" wok pretty good. The wok has a few rivets for the handles that interfere a little to get a perfect closure, but other than that the lid is perfect and lets you see the cooking stage of the food.Didn't even get a chance to use it. Washed it, set it on the pan, and then 15 minutes later it self shatters to pieces. I have never seen anything like this. NOT ONLY DONT BUY, but this is a serious SAFETY HAZARD.
